Like Father Like Son

One of the "added bonuses" of our time at Tenwek was meeting, working together and getting to know members of the Tenwek 2010 team from all over the country.  Dr. Malik, our sole anesthesiologist came to Tenwek with his family (wife Ann and son Nathan).  They quickly became a very special part of the "Tenwek Team".  The series of photos above show Nathan and his Dad side by side after one of our cardiac patients was admitted to the ICU.

One of Nathan's primary responsibilities during our cardiac week was "hydration management" for the entire team.  This consisted of Fanta (of course), various other Kenyan sodas and bottled water.  Nathan is shown here on his way back from one of his many daily trips to the hospital canteen.  Go Nathan!
