We Made It To Amsterdam!!

Hi Everyone,

We made it to Amsterdam this morning at 1100 (it's 8 pm now).  We're leaving shortly for Nairobi and my computer batter is dying and the internet is too slow to upload our photos from today.  I'll have to add them once I get to Tenwek tomorrow.

We leave for Nairobi in about 10 minutes.  Our flight is about 9 hours long.  When we land in Nairobi at 0700 in the morning we're going directly to Tenwek Hospital.  It's typically a 1.5 to 2.0 hr drive.  We should hopefully be there by 1030-ish Nairobi time.

When John and I landed in Amsterdam, we ran into Mary and Michael Taylor (Mary is a long-time Critical Care Dr. from Vanderilt who recently left to join a practice in MS).  All 4 of us spent the afternoon in Amsterdam and had an incredible time.  We all fell in love with the city and I've got some great photos to post, but my battery is too low.

Malik, Ann, Nathan, Kristen B. Kristen D. Anna, Cari etc are all here as well.
