OK, for those of you that have been following me since my first trip to Tenwek, you might remember a certain story about a nurse that I ran into with her arms all the way into a bag with it pulled up to her shoulders in the OR ...
Well... as I rounded the corner into the OR this afternoon to start setting up for our first open heart tomorrow I ran into a nurse with his hands all the way inside a big rough cotton bag, and the bag went all the way up to his shoulders.
Well, that only means one thing at Tenwek... there's a baby in that there bag!
Since I "happened" to have my camera with me I followed the nurse into the recovery room that our nurses were busy converting into a post-op ICU and got to witness the special event. The little boy was probably less than a minute old when I laid eyes on him and he was a real cutie. See for yourself...

What a beautiful moment for you to experience AND photograph! Great pictures too...you must share what kind of camera you ended up with! Although, your eye is doing most of the work!
